Fall 2008 - Character & Object Design - Character Redesigns

For the final project in my Charcter & Object Design class in Fall 2008, we were given a list of popular characters that we were to choose from and redesign.

For my first choice, I redesigned the character Gir from Nickelodeon's "Invader Zim". For this design, I decided to combine his true form as a robot with his disguise as a green dog.

For my second choice, I chose Ariel from Disney's "The Little Mermaid". For this design, I wanted to keep a similar color scheme. I also wanted to try a mix of Disney style with a Japanese anime style.

Lastly, I chose to redesign the Wolfman. Even though the word "man" is in the name, I decided to go with a more of a "boy" look. The style was heavily influenced by the style of Nickelodeon's "The Fairly Odd Parents".
